New Member Intro

Hi All! I am new to the group and owning chickens. In May of 2021 I bought 3 lavender orpingtons at one week of age. I adopted a one week old black silkie that was abandoned and added her to the flock about a month later. I have created a chicken palace in my backyard and they are now 5 months old today. I woke up to our first egg today. I’m excited to be a part of this group.

Thank you! Didn’t eat yet I’m waiting for my husband to see it first before I touch it. I added another nesting box to the coop today in hopes that if one is ready the other girls may wanna give it a try.
