(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I’ve had chickens throughout my adult life. My current flock I started three years ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Three ducks, two turkeys and 37 chickens….bantams and regular sized
(3) What breeds do you have?
Royal palm female
Heritage bronze female
Blue Swedish male and female
Ruen female
Rhode Island Red, white leghorn, dominiques, buff orphinton, Easter eggers, black sex links
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They bring joy and peace to my life, laughter too. I love my little flock
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, reading
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I’m a bus driver and work at our local feed store. I am married. My three girls are 22, 21 and 15. My stepson is 16. I have two cats and four dogs as well as William Wallace, my rabbit
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
