A. Newish, have much to learn and enjoy the experience. 2 years with chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
30 chickens, 4 turkey, and 25 guinea fowl.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Americana, Silver Laced Wyandotte standard end EXB, Barnevelder, Turken, Rhode Island Red, Red Sexlink, Austolorp, Barred Rock, Golden Laced Cochin, Ayam Cemani, Blue Sapphire Gem, Columbian Wyandotte, and some questionable Olive Eggers (hybrid or mixed)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Personalities and eggs of course.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Developing our land, RV restoration, computers, 3D printing, many others.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My family recently moved states. Going from densely populated suburbs to the sticks. We enjoy animals of all kinds as well as various hobbies.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
