Hi again :frow
How's your little chick with the pasty butt doing?
Hi! They are doing well! I have whipped their butts any time I see even the slightest bit of poop on feathers and they are doing great with that! But I do worry a bit because all of them are pooping BUT one has very hard solid small poops and the others are having larger wet poops. Im not sure if this is chicken diarrhea or which of the two types is supposed to be the normal type of poops? The hard poops are very dark in color and the soft ones have ranged from a bright brown orange color to just a normal medium brown. Any advice or tips on this?

The small hard aren't normal. Do you know which bird it is coming from? It could be due to insufficient water intake.

Ah, no I don't know which bird. I will be on the look out for who is the culprit. What do you recommend I do when I find out which one it is? Should I give it something?

@casportpony is the poop specialist here!

Watch closely and make sure everybody's drinking good. Are you giving them electrolytes in their water?
No I have not been adding electrolytes. I just ordered some "save a chick: electrolytes" off of amazon. Is that something that I should add every day for their whole lives? Or just when they aren't pooping right? I read somewhere about adding apple cider vinegar and I just started adding a drop into the water yesterday- I have yet to see any improvements.
