(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I saw posts about ducks here so I came for duck stuff, but I’m new to them! We got our first
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
So far we only have the one as she’s a rescue but when we move we’re planning to add more for her! (Don’t worry, we have the time to give her all the attention she needs for now!)
(3) What breeds do you have?
She is a mallard duck.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Since I don’t have a proper flock yet, I’ll come back when I get the chance.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I’m a pretty crafty person, so I draw and like to make things with my hands. (Also playing game
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 1 bunny and a guinea pig aside from the duck. The ducks name is Molly, and we all collectively take care of her. (Me, my twin, brother and mom).
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I just kept looking for answers about ducks, and it took me here! So I decided to join just in case I ever had any questions or concerns of my own. (I’ve seen this site a lot throughout the 4 months).
