Hello, I got my 14 chicks this Spring. Breeds are Australorps, Welsumers, Buff Orpingtons, Bar Rocks, Rhode Island Reds. I got them for eggs. I garden and spend time with my small dogs. I'm married, and don't work now. I found BYC on Google today while looking for information on finishing up our coop. From time to time have seen comments appear from Backyard Chickens, and found the information to always be very helpful.
