Hey everyone so happy to join! New chicken owner, have seven about 8 week old chickens purchased online from chicks. 2 Splash laced red Wyandottes, 2 French black tailed red marans, 2 Barnevelders and 1 Partridge Cochin. Have wanted chickens for years, but the current egg shortage/bird flu let me take the next step. The kiddos love interacting with them and I enjoy spinning yarn/knitting/crocheting in the backyard with them all when the weather is nice and the pollen isn’t too bad .
