Howdy all..
We live in NC and like knowing where or food comes from. We do what we can on our 1 acer hobby farm. We have had laying hens for 3 years now, current flock is small, just 6 girls.
We have raised Standard Bronze Turkeys 2 years in a row now. This year we processed them ourselves with some friends and borrowed equipment.
My first processing experience was so positive, this spring we are going to raise our first flock of broilers, planning on 50 Freedom Rangers.
Going to start posting now that I need some DIY help with building processing equipment.
