We are new to chickendom and got started b/c of our kids. Growing up we had chickens and it was a lot of fun. Now I realize how much work there is!! We have 7 BB Red Dutch Bantams, 4 Brown Leghorns and 6 Ameracana (EE) chicks that are all about 13 weeks old. We can tell that 2 bantams, 3 leghorns and 2 ameracanas are roos. Still unsure about 2 EEs they look like roo tail feathers. We are really overloaded with roos. We ordered pullets (5 dominique & 5 brown leghorn) from a hatchery that will be here Friday! I’m sure I will be posting many questions in the weeks to come )
