Hi all, Kathy here. Recently retired, hoping to build a coop and gain enough knowledge to start keeping chicken. My grandparents had a farm, Ive helped with farm animals, horses,cows, goats. Oddly enough? No chickens. We like to start with some laying hens and progress to meat hens.
First things first..
Any resources for diy coops?
 
Hello, Kathy, and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
There are lots of ideas on coops in the coop pages. You can also convert an old shed into a coop. It's much faster as the basic structure is already done.
