Hello all. I am a new member who needs advice. I bought 9 chickens and 1 rooster this past spring. I already had 2 bantams that were 3 years old. The bantam hens were the bosses until recently. The rooster has become aggressive toward them. He ripped open one of my bantams head a couple days ago and she died yesterday. He just now started picking on the 2nd bantam and her head has a smaller wound and i am separating her. He will be going to the neighbors freezor unfortunately. I feel bad as he is gorgeous and not agressive toward me or the others. But wont trust him with mew flock now. He isneither an easter egger or a olive egger rooster. So my question is i was wondering opinion on my little bantam that he killed. We would like to replace her as she was the family favorite. I will send in a couple pictures but because didnt know she was going to be killed they are not great pictures just me taking some one day of all of them... here is a description....tiny tiny less than 1 lb sweet toward people...dainty.....clean legs.....black and white speckled...reddish colored eyes.

Welcome to BYC.
I'm so sorry for you loss. Is that a picture of her that you posted?
I've heard that some roosters "attack" in order to assert their authority in a flock but I'm new to chickens so I'm also keen to hear what the breeders think.....

Yes that is her by herself in 1st picture sunbathing and 2nd picture standing next to the flock to show her tiny size

The rooster may have attacked them because they were different (bantams). Or the rooster and younger birds were put in with the bantams without proper integration It can be very difficult getting new birds introduced to older ones. Usually the older breeds are aggressive to the newcomers. In your case the rooster found bantams to be easy pickings. Unless you expect to hatch chicks there is no reason to have a rooster. Hens will happily go along laying their eggs (albeit non fertile) without a rooster harassing them. I am sorry for your loss.
