(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've taken care of baby chicks before but now for the first time have some backyard chickens to call my own. My lady pullets are about four months old now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have three - Ginger, MaryAnne, and Mrs. Howell.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have what I call "froo-froo chickens"
- they are polish crested hens. I have two gold lace polish (MaryAnne is of the bearded variety, Ginger is not) and a white crested black polish (Mrs. "Lovey" Howell).

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Home-making, mothering, gardening, reading, Greek Mythology, puppetry, comedy, and I'm trying to do a little yogo everyday now.

I'm married to a carpenter and am a stay-at-home-mom/domestic goddess. I have a 2 1/2 yr old son named Henry and a new baby on the way this April. In addition to the hens, we also have two old cats.
