Hello All,
My wife and I are Upstate NY chicken parents. Wished we had more land and out in the country to raise other animals. Having a devil of a time getting new chicks this year. Chicks are the new toilet paper, can't get there in time to pick any up. We had already decided last fall to add to our old girls when our egg supply dwindle down to almost nothing. We have been raising chickens for about 15 years. Our family has enjoyed it tremendously. We had some sad moments with predators, but unfortunately it is not always avoidable. We thought about turkeys this year, but after reading some post from you folks, we just don't have the set up for them.
