New Member, out in NC

Morning everyone!

I'm a newbie flock owner, and after a few monthes of my questions consistently being directed to this site by google, I decided to give in and make myself an account

I've a three hen flock currently, and I just love them all to pieces! Their ages are all a bit in question, something I regret, but none of them are laying yet. I'm under the impression that maturing in Winter will do that to a hen, so I'm not too concerned about it just yet. The eldest is a laid back buff Orpington named Lacy, my middle child is a barred rocks kind of lady, she got dubbed Ribbon, and the youngest is an energetic ameraucana who, being both the smalllest and loudest, got saddled with Macrame

I'm hoping to do right by them, and one day enjoy some colorful eggs lol
