Hello BYC crew,
We started our flock about 4 years ago here in New England with 11 girls. We've lost 2 to predators over that time and have not yet added any youngsters to the brood. Our flock reside in a 4x8 coop with an 8x8 enclosed run and ~20x20 fenced run.
We're planning to double the size of our flock over the next few years, so I'll be seeking advice about various aspects of this.
In addition to our hens, we have 1 rescue dog and 3 rescue cats. We love to garden, hike, swim in local lakes and rivers, and spend countless winter days shoveling our driveway.
Excited to be part of BYC!
