Hi everyone. What a great website!!! I actually came here first in april 08 when i got my first chickens. I purchased 5 RIR hens and 5 PBR hens from mcmurray, they made it about 1 hour at home when my wifes mini weiners thought they were their squueeky toys. 1 rock made it. my wife felt so bad she race to the local tractor supply and bought 9 more. (it was april 1 and i thought she was joking me)
so now i have 1 rooster blue cochin, 1 black 1 speckled cochin hens, 1 rooster 1 hen buff, 4 golden wyandots hens, 1 rock hen.
By reading your posts, i became a sucessful chicken farmer.
I plan on building a incubator and have read all posts, what a great group of people who all chime in to help others. I hope im successful.
