Hi, we live on a farm in North East Tasmania. I acquired 9 hens from one of our boys, 3 barneveldors, 2 sussex (1 light and 1 buff), 3 ISAs and 1 black bantam x and I also have a black australorp rooster that I named Henry! They are all free range.
Thanks to my incubator I am now the proud mother of 24 aust x barnie and aust x light sussex chicks - very exciting!!
I am new to chicken breeding so will be asking lots of (probably very dumb) questions!!

There are no dumb questions here. We don't expect newbies to have a walking chicken encyclopedia in their heads. We don't have them either. Research(on BYC) and your personal experience and asking questions will be educational for you. The Learning Center will give you a great start.
