I have been reading the site for over 2 years, working up to starting a flock.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Raised the as a Kid, and just got the Spouse OK last year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 34 in 2 coops, thinking of building a 3rd coop for the Bantums, the 10 NHR are not laying yet.
(3) What breeds do you have? I have Buff Orpingtons, New Hampshire Reds and Dutch Bantums
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Google Search I have been reading the site for over 2 years, working up to starting a flock.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Ag Farming
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I joined the Navy to get off the Farm, now after 30 years of service, that is all I want to do!
