Hello Everyone! I am new to BYC.
I would like to be apart of this community, as i have 3 Jumbo Pekin Ducks we have had for about a year now.
(1) Are you new to Ducks / when did you first get Ducks?
-- I am slightly new to backyard ducks we have raised 4 Jumbo Pekin ducks for a year now, from little yellow puffballs to big White Afflack looking ducks
(2) How many Ducks do you have right now?
-- As of this very moment we have 3 Pekin ducks (1) Male & (2) Female
(3) What breeds do you have?
-- Pekin
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard Ducks?
-- I think my favorite part of raising our backyard ducks is that they are peaceful to watch. I have placed a older hot tub in the ground that they use for a pool and i have the water pumped into another tub filled with lava rock for filtration. so i am constantly keeping up on the water and filtration. soon I will be building a waterfall in the backyard instead of having a big ugly tub for filtration.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
-- my ducks and back yard are my hobbies. as i am trying to make my backyard a oasis getaway. with the sound of running water and a large fire pit for friends and family to enjoy
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
-- Im married to my best friend since 2017 we have been together since 2012 we currently have 2 doggos as well.
we have a
-- Doberman/ beagle mix
and we also have a
--boxer/Pit Mix
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC while surfing the good ole google looking for a forum i could join with other people that also have Jumbo Pekin ducks. and would like to collaborate and gain more knowledge on these backyard friends
