Just kept landing on this site every time I was researching chickens, most of the dialogue appears useful and seems like a great forum so wanted to be a part when I could. Grew up on a farm in MI but went awhile without the ability to do any sort of it because of military life. But been back into it for a few and hopefully I can add pieces of useful info here and there while I learn from you all.

Welcome to BYC from another Californian, up here in wine country in the Western Sierra Foothills.

I shudder to think what AdDITIONAL adversity my chickens would have suffered had I not discovered BYC. I can always get assistance fixing something which wouldn't have happened if I had checked BYC beforehand.

Plus I have so many good friends I have never met in person.

Welcome! There's tons of useful info on here. Especially info on how to expand coops, calculate chicken math correctly so you always have room for more, etc, lol. It's a fun site, and informative too.
