Hi everyone, we rehomed 5 aylesbury girls and a drake 4 days ago from a breeding farm. They are great with such funny personalities. We are new to this and are learning a lot from byc.

Hi and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. Love that photo! The duck forum will likely be your first port of call - https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks and you'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre - https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

You may wish to consider joining your state thread as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you

All the best

Thanks guys, this site is great, i can't wait for them to start laying eggs. Only had them 5 days, I'm in love already with my stuck up ducks lol, that's my nick name for them as I get some right funny looks when I'm chatting away from them, ie side tilt of the head eyes wide and beak up in the air, they just look like there looking at me thinking what the hell, this woman's nuts lol.

Welcome!

Aaaw, your duckies look to be having a wonderful time!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends
