Just built my first chicken coop 3'x 8' with a single roof and three nesters. Now what is ironic is that I can't get me any chickens because of the flu that is going around. I try to order but I have to get 15 and their vaccinations. All I want is 5 Red Star pullets or Black sliver Wyandottes. Any advice

What type of vaccinations are they supposed to have? I don't believe there is a vaccination for the avian flu I don't know where you live but "My Pet chicken," on BYC
will allow order as few as 3 if you are near a major city or 5 if you are not. Generally that is to provide enough warm bodies to produce their own heat in the shipping box.
