Hello everyone. .been reading different threads on byc and decided maybe it's time to join. Sure learn a lot just browsing, so looking forward to interacting. I'm not new to country life or livestock however I personally never owned any chickens until 11 weeks ago. I now have 14 girl Australorps and 1 silky roo. The girls are 11 week and roo is 16 weeks. I built them a new coop and fully enclosed a 14x28 run. They seem very happy... I enjoy having em around. .kinda takes me back to my childhood. My wife and I sit sometimes and watch them. .pretty entertaining. Looking forward to fresh eggs..and sharing them with Friends and family. So looking forward to chatting with the good people here at byc..
