My family are first generation farmers. We are small farmers, some may even consider hobby farmers.

We have chickens, ducks, a turkey and a rabbit. About three weeks ago we butchered our first ever pigs. Homegrown bacon tastes so much better. We used to have goats, but sold them off this past Summer.

About 6 weeks ago we had the first even babies born on the farm, from our newly added ducks this past Summer.

We have three dogs (great Pyrenees, lab, and rat terrier), and two cats.

Next year will be our first year beekeeping..just bought the hives about a week ago.

I look forward to the interaction on this forum.
