Hi everyone :)

I joined as I’m new to hatching and raising quails, every time I look something up the best advice I found was through this site so I decided to sign up.
I have always had chickens I have 5 cute little chicks at the moment 3 to one hen & 2 to another they are all healthy little cuties.

I haven’t yet hatched any quails but one egg pitted about 5pm last night and the little chick had been slowly unzipping but has not yet hatched I’m looking forward to seeing it hatch and talking further with members about all the areas of raring quails :)

G’Day from down under Theclassicalfarmer and NatNZ :frow Welcome!

I hope you both enjoy being BYC members. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you include your general location on your profile, this will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have.

You might want to also Find Your State Thread and pop in and say hello.

BYC has Topic of the Week articles which I have found to be a great resource and a one stop shop for questions which may have already been discussed within the BYC membership group.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock or other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
