I am new to raising chickens. Someone gave me 2 Serama chickens and a small coop. I already love my chickens and want more. I am working on building a larger coop, and will be looking for recommendations on which chickens to get and how/if I can introduce them to my 2 I already have. I live in North Texas, so they will need to be able to handle the summer heat. I am an environmental educator, so I am hoping to add a chicken or 2 to our animals we have at work. Someone warned me they would be addictive, and they were so true. Glad to be a part of this chicken community.

It's called "chicken math". No cure, and you'll only find enablers here!:lau

:welcomeWelcome! Bienvenidos! Were so glad you love your chickens as much as we do!! Others just don't understand ;). Good luck with the integration. We have many articles and threads on BYC about new chicken integration. Id recommend use of the search function.

Cheers
