I have had chickens for about 7 years. I have Buff Orpington 4 hens (just loss one tonight) and rooster all about 7 years old. Also have speckled sussex 5 hens and rooster about 1 yr old and 2 bronze broad breasted turkeys 1 hen and tom that are around 2 years old. I just really enjoy being outside with my feathered friends gardening, walking at pond or just chilling in the shade. I have come to this site often for information but never thought about joining. Look forward to learning and making new friends.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
