Hello! I am Aimee. I am new to the Back Yard Chicken community!

I have recently decided to take on some young chickens to join our family!
We are going to have 1 Silkie and 4 Red blue laced Wyandotte's

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes I am new to chickens

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None currently; waiting for them to hatch

(3) What breeds do you have?
Going to be getting 1 Silkie and 4 red blue laced Wyandottes

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I came across the weboste when looking and researching the different breeds

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am a Jeep Fanatic, I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my 2 year old son and husband.

Eggs in the Fall! I love pullets that start laying eggs then because the will usually lay thorough their first winter. The next Fall they will molt so watch for the feathers in the yard and naked hens....They look so funny then
