(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I have had a few chickens in the past but I went a little chicken crazy and bought a lot this spring.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 29 chickens, 1 hen turkey and 2 ducks.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Buff Orpington (my original girl), Jersey Giant, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Blue Australorp, Silkies, Cochin bantam, buff brahma bantam, Lavendar Orpington, Frizzle bantam, Black Orpington, BLRW, Easter Egger, Plymouth rock and 4 I'm not sure what they are.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Looking for help online to answer questions about chickens. I've gotten the most help from this forum !
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We have a variety of small animals we love very much: rabbits, ducks, chickens, bottle calves, a guinea pig, 4 dogs and a turkey. We show pigs and goats at the livestock shows. Love to be outside planting flowers.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm married and have 5 children ( 3 of which are bonus children) and 3 wonderful grandbabies. I enjoy living in the country. I support my family and animals by being a nurse.
