Age 73 and retired on three acres with wife and herd of cats. We kept 75 - 125 chickens for several years. Along with fainting goats.

Retired from chickens a few years ago. And goats. Missed fresh eggs. Not goats.

Bought small backyard coop. Got six chicks from extension educator. Four were roosters. At least no goats.

Not real happy with small coop. Will probably change it out at some point. Fox and predator population precludes letting them run free.

We have experience and knowledge but can always learn.

Welcome to BYC. You'll be happy to know there is virtually nothing about goats on this website :)
