Hi, I am Joan and I live in the Middle Ga area. I have been around chickens all my life. When I was young my Grandmother raised chickens and I enjoyed them very much. I have chickens now just for eggs and the enjoyment of having them around. I want to learn more about taking care of them if I see a problem. Right now one of my young hens has a swollen crop and I have been reading on the posts what to do about it. I think it's getting better, I hope so.

I look forward to reading all the posts and ideas from the group.
