Hello all from Australia (McLaren Vale, Adelaide).

I am new to your site and have loved looking around .

I want to start building new coops for special breeding chickens with coop and separate area for broody hens where they wont get hassled by the other coop occupants. You have so many great ideas on your site, I am sure to find something easy to suit my needs.

Currently we have approximately 40 ISA Brown layers, who supply a local bowling club and we also have a roadside produce stand. The eggs pay for our chicken feed and will supply much of the funds for our new breeding coops.

I look forward to being a part of your community.

Regards
Crams

Welcome. I'm glad you are enjoying the website so far. Sounds like you have a nice business going with the eggs. If you make enough to pay for feed and build new coops, you are definitely doing something right. I barely break even, myself. Anyway, I hope BYC continues to fun and useful for you.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens, Crams! We are glad you joined the flock!:welcome BYC is a helpful site providing all of the information you need to know about poultry. There is always space for members on the BYC roost!:highfive: Productive layers produce more money which helps support your buisness. Good luck endeavoring to get your coops built. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!
