Good afternoon!

My name is Leeanna and we are newbie chicken farmers in Orange County, CA. We have 20 new babies of mixed variety, purchased a week and a half ago, so they about 2 weeks old. Things are going good so far and they all seem to be happy and healthy and are growing quickly. We will be building our coop this weekend in preparation for the time when they will be ready to begin life outside. Our plan is to free range them. Any tips or helpful advice is welcome.
Thank you! Happy Hump Day!
Leeanna

Welcome to BYC.
:yesss: We are glad you joined this flock!
Jump right in and make yourself at home.

Where did you get your chickens from?
You may want to look into keeping them "put up" for a while, there is a large quarantine in your general area right now.
Maps of the exact areas can be seen here:

Hello, and welcome! Glad that you joined us! Good luck with your chick's! Make sure that your coop has enough ventilation, and if adding a run to it make sure that it has shading of some sort on the side that will get the brunt of the hotter afternoon sun.
