I've been raising chickens for about 5 months now.

I have 9 hens and 1 rooster.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have Kroila breeds from Uganda
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Just watching them. Having my children interact with the chickens. Fresh eggs every morning. Thinking up ways of how to make their lives more enjoyable.

Wood working, Photography.

I have a wife and 2 small children. I live in Rwanda working in international development. I got into chicken raising as a way to relax after long days of staring at a screen.
