This is the first time we have had chickens in many of years. We are a family of 6 and eggs do not last long here. We just but 12 chicks and are looking at a good size coop that is not to hard to build or expensive since materials where we are stationed are not cheap. by kids are overly excited about have chickens now and hopefully that does not wear off anytime soon.
