Hey ya'll, my name is Ronnie!
After looking at many different threads on this page when I first got my chickens, I decided it was time to finally join! I am a brand new chicken mama, I have 4 and as of today, they are 4 weeks old! I know two of them are Plymouth Rock chickens and (I think) the other two might be Light Brown Leghorn chickens, but I am not sure. I have loved getting to learn more about these animals as well as realizing how funny and sweet they are. I am very excited about the fresh eggs that I will get later down the road! I love being outdoors and trying new things, I enjoy animals and being around them. I have grown up around cows and horses as well as had my fair share of family dogs, I currently have a dog of my own who is my pride and joy! The reason I found this page, was due to the fact that one of my chicks has a scissor beak and of course being new to the chicken mom life, I decided to research all I could about scissor beak chicks and how to care for them, which brought me to BackYard Chickens and I was very thankful for the information on here as it has helped me care for my little scissor beak baby!
