Hi! I currently have 14 baby chicks that are 3 weeks old. 3 are Cukoo Marans, 3 are Speckled Sussex, 5 are Araucana/Americanas and the last 3 are assorted layers. This is my first time having chicks of my own. To say I’ve learned a lot in the last 3 weeks would be an understatement!!! The chicks have been in my office since we brought them home at 2 days old. They all have names and are fairly tame so far. Our chicken coop is almost finished (some siding and electrical are what’s left). After that we have their run to complete. I am excited to be apart of this group. I absolutely love chickens and enjoy caring for and watching them grow each day. I’m sure I will be more than happy when they are ready to go into their coop.
