Hi everyone I have just joined this site, 3 years ago I moved to South Derbyshire and bought 4 chickens a Well Summer a Sussex Hybrid and 2 Black Rocks. After 1 year my Sussex Hybrid Agatha became broody and I could not persuade her otherwise so I purchased 3 fertile eggs from a local chicken breeder 1 egg hatched producing fortunately a girlie who I named Matilda; Matilda looks like a Marian breed she is beautiful and bigger than all the others. Since purchasing them I find I’m continually learning more about these lovely inquisitive ladies but from time to time I have to research answers to various problems I have had along the way which is why I decided to join this forum
