Thought I would take a minute to tell you a little about myself...
I have a small homestead in northern Illinois where we try and raise most of the food we eat. We currently have horses, cattle, sheep, turkeys, geese, ducks, chickens, quail, dogs, and a cat. We raise meat birds and egg layers... We typically have 30-50 egg laying birds (not counting the quail). I have had horses for almost 20 years, but did not venture into other livestock until about 4 years ago.
