Joan and I are the proud owners of six leghorns that are growing more beautiful everyday.
We live in South Carolina and this is our first flop and we are enjoying them and they are supplying us with eggs everyday.
I am a retired Navy veteran.
We look forward to all of the great information from this website to help us keep our chickens healthy and happy and producing

One of the breeds I raise are Leghorns. I don't usually recommend them to people who are starting out with chickens because they can be quite flighty but I love my Leghorns too. I raise Single Comb White and Rose Comb Dark Browns. Good luck and have frun.

Thank you we are really enjoying these birds and yes they're flighty but I have resolved that problem by putting a tin roof and wire so they can't fly out but yet still have room to fly if they want.
