Yes I'm new to raising chickens. We got a rooster and 2 hens in June this year (2021) in August we added 4 more chick and a quail to the flock.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently 11 with 30 hatching eggs due in a week.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Silkie, Wyandottes, Orpington and Americana.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They have personality and are funny to watch.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Crafting, knitting, painting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Cat,3 dogs, a fish and a bunch of chicken.
