Hi,

I’m 7 month new chicken, duck & Guinea care giver. 9 hens, 5 black Andalusia, 3 Easter Eggars and 1 little orange hen (I call her Ginger) 8 Guineas Male & Female. And 3 ducks 2 Indian Runners (M & F )and 1 Kaki Cambell hen.

I also have 1 donkey Jenny, & 8 Male Goats for clearing the brush.

I just discovered TODAY that I am allergic to duck eggs. I stumbled on this site by googling “if I am allergic to duck eggs will I be allergic to the meat?”

I have watched and subscribed to BYC on YouTube but I didn’t know this forum was available.

I look forward to sharing and learning from all of you.

Welcome!!

Quail eggs tend to not cause allergic reactions as much. Not sure if that's a good reason to get a few though! Just wanted to put it out there.
