Hello I’m Barbara, new backyard chicken owner in the pacific north west! We have 8 chicks about two months old. One has splay leg, we were not successful in rehabbing it earlier. She gets by, dragging the leg around, but is about half the size of the others and she can’t perch. My husband wants to put her down (she’s too small to harvest for meat) but I want to give her a chance. Any advice?

If she is stunted along with the splayed leg, she may have other underlying issues as well that might take the decision out of either of your hands. If she looks like she is suffering, I would end it. Good luck with her.
