Hello,
Thank you for this group. I’m new to owning hens and hope to learn as much as possible from this group. I have 4 hens. 2 New Hamshire Reds even though one is grey, but that’s what tractor supply told me and 2 Easter Eggers. They are 9 weeks and we are thoroughly enjoying them but eager to learn more.

Welcome to BYC Karis! :frow If you post pictures of the grey one we might be able to identify it as it doesn’t really sound like a New Hamshire red. TSC often gets breeds mixed up.

Thank you. She’s a beautiful chick for sure! Her name is Lemon. Not sure if she’s the heritage breed but I love her just the same. Pleased to meet you as well!
