I’m a new member here and I’m so excited to join this group. I’ve only had chickens since the beginning of May. I have a few different breeds which I got extremely lucky when buying since I mostly picked them by their breed names or egg colors. I have Delawares which I love, a couple of Rhode Island’s, calico princess, leghorn, olive eggers, Easter eggers, Plymouth Rock mixes, and an unknown breed that was given to me. The unknown is a black hen with a green sheen to her feathers if anyone knows what she is it would be great to know. I’m looking for any advice or help anyone has to offer

She came to me from a kindergarten classroom that was doing a lifecycle project and the only information I could get was they were a barnyard mix

I will have to do some research on the breed. When I did a google image search on her that wasn’t one of the breeds that came up.
