The second one that passed was and it came back lymphoma. That still doesn't tell me much

It doesn't. Either there'd be another medical term behind lymphoma or a cause for the lymphoma. I'd try calling to ask.

Did they by any chance say Lymphoma/ Avian Leukosis? Or Lymphoma/Mereks ?
Mereks is actually the better option because new flock members can be vaccinated as chicks and introduced after 2 weeks. There is no vaccine for Avian Leukosis.

The first 6 chicks we got are almost 2 years old and the other 8 are 10 months old.

They just told me lymphoma. I need more info of what disease or illness caused it. One of my chickens, a polish, was ill and she recovered with antibiotics and is back out with her sisters and doing great. The 10 in the coop amd run are doing great still and of course I'm checking on them constantly.
