Hi everyone,
I live in the Alicante Spain area and keep Chickens, mainly as a Hobby.
I have 2 Coops with 9 Hens and 1 rooster in each mainly leghorns. Had these for 2 years.
Coop 3 - Just added Silkies to this Coop.
Hope to learn new things and speak to chicken keepers.

Hi, Yes the leghorns are consistent layers, apart from when its winter here and less daylight, numbers deplete to almost none some days. then lighter and longer days, back to consistently laying.
I mainly give eggs to friends and family and sell on some to people I have as 'regulars' who buy a dozen a fortnight. Not a money making business as all funds get re-spent on food as they can eat and eat and eat!
