Its iffy. Some hens will continue to sit and others will give up when moved. If you are concerned about their security, move them. If you are concerned about other hen disturbing them, I'd just move the new eggs out each day.
Ok, when the goose is off the nest there is a revolving door of chickens in the goose coop checking out the hen and the eggs they must be impressed that crazy girl has such big eggs 😂 I guess we will leave them the way they are working things works for them, our last goose would fling a chicken in a heartbeat but she got killed by a bobcat before she got broody.

I'm sorry about your other goose. I hope they manage to hatch a female!

I have a goose and a chicken that have been setting on goose eggs. The goose has started laying eggs again but her and the chicken are still laying on their original goose eggs. What is going on??
If the goose is laying again, then the chicken is the only broody one and a broody hen may try to set on those eggs too because the goose keeps laying in or near the nest. Sounds like that is the favorite nest spot.
