Greetings Backyard Chickens Community! I am here because I want to learn about chicken health problems and solutions that others have tried.

(1) I’ve had chickens for 35 years.

(2) I have 8 chickens.

(3) Speckled Sussex hens.

(4) I keep them mainly because I love them, they are the sweetest cuddle bugs who return my love, and eggs are a bonus.

(5) Other hobbies are genealogy and taking care of other animals on the farm (horses and goats).

(6) I have three rabbits, a betta (fish), a cat and a dog, and a TNR feral cat colony. Caring for animals is my passion and mission in life, and my door is always open to one in need.

(7) I thought I already was a member, but it must have been under my old email address which is long gone. So I rejoined with my current address.
