Hello, my name is Lisa and i live in a very rural town in NY. Last year we purchased 5 New hampshire red baby chicks. We have 4 of them now, they are so great! I love them. every time i go near them they do a little shuffle and squat so i can pet them! its so funny!. this year, i decided to hatch my own. I didnt know the hatchability rate, so i purchased several ( 1 dozen each of chicken and duck) then they gave me a dozen more duck eggs as a bonus
so far we lost only 1 chicken, and 4 ducks. we are on day 17 and very anxious to see our new family members arrive!
